I recently stayed at The Little Lion Inn in Wellingore for two nights and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff treated me like a long lost friend. They were incredibly accommodating, even setting up a dining space for my takeaway. The bar staff were friendly and attentive, and the beer was excellent. The homemade pizzas for dinner were delicious and they were able to accommodate my wife's cheese intolerance. The freshly cooked breakfast made with local ingredients was a great start to the day. The bedroom was clean and welcoming, and I appreciated the efforts made to create a comfortable space. Despite the pub being busy, there was no noise disturbance at night. I highly recommend both the people and the place at The Little Lion Inn, Red Lion.
